 This tranquil painting is framed and on the walls of Gallery5one. It was selected as a juried piece in a recent show. It can now be purchased for $1,500 USD. When I painted this piece, I envisioned myself peering out a little cabin window overlooking a calm lakeside in the silent evening hours. Although there was no actual cabin nearby when I pulled over, I knew instantly that I found a a bit of sanctuary that clearly seemed to whisper a simple message: let us be silent so that we may hear......
 July 2013 Issue from the Saratoga Springs Life Magazine  Inspiration is often just around the corner. Fortunately, I did not need to look far. This evening, I literally just took a jaunt down stream from where I reside and found a powerful source of inspiration for my summer painting of 2013. What I like most about this photograph was how the evening light filters through the mist along with the powerful energy of the falls. My hope is that once this composition is completed, I will have an engaging painting that resonates with contrast, energy, light, and above all, the force of nature that seemingly is untouched by mankind.
