Summertime on the Mohawk from the Auriesville Shrine - 16" x 20" Oil on Canvas - artist Karen Woodin2/21/2018 The "Summertime on the Mohawk" oil painting depicts a panoramic river view from the Auriesville Shrine location. This painting was just completed and is a reminder of the beautiful vista views we have in upstate, NY. Although the fields are expansive, I wanted to emphasize the river and how it winds along. The cluster of trees seem to frame the painting and have their own character that compliments the river. It is a place to come back again and again.
