Oil Painting Workshop of Vermont Lakeside Scene:
Artist’s Retreat with award winning landscape artist and instructor Karen Woodin.
Join Karen as she takes you into the oil painting realm of an elegant Vermont Lakeside scene at the residence of the incoming BAA (Bethlehem Art Association) president - Hillary Raimo, near the foothills of Helderberg Mountains. This scene will allow you to expressively explore contrasts and techniques that reflect a vibrant color scheme with a perfectly balanced and traditional composition. This full day class is designed to teach fundamental oil painting skills along with time to refresh you with delicious baked goods served in the morning session, and a lite lunch with soothing music while you paint. All materials are included: water-soluble oil paints, brushes and a 10” by 20” canvas.
Class size will be limited to 6 students to allow a lot of one on one instruction in a very peaceful space that provides lots of natural light. Come and paint as you embrace and anticipate the nuances of the summer months ahead.
