New Oil Painting ~Lewey Lake of the Adirondacks on an 18 x 24 Canvas - Completed

Here is a tranquil and peaceful depiction of Lewey Lake in the fall. It is located in the central portion of the Adirondacks. It is a shallow lake that is perfect for kayaking, camping, fishing, and boating. I derived this painting from a photo I took while kayaking this past fall with my husband and his kayaking buddies. It was a wonderful adventure and easy to navigate.

Come spend a wonderful afternoon and learn to develop your skill in oil painting. I offer (private or small group) classes which are usually held on Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm at my studio residence. All materials are included and the total cost for 2 session classes is $69.55. Your landscape oil paintings are completed on a 16 x 20 prepared canvas using oils following a traditional/classical approach. There are 4 sessions being offered for 2015. Each painting takes approximately 2 classes with several choices available at various levels of mastery.

Early registration is highly recommended due to limited class size. Last Spring my class exhibited at a group show in Saratoga. This coming spring, I am planning a new adventure with a trip with my group to an island in Maine. Please join us today.

On the day I was kayaking here on Lewey lake the colors in upstate New York were the most vibrant. Navigating through the reeds with all the twists and turns provided great angles for a full waterscape view. I am looking forward to comng back here again to try a different season with another interesting perspective.
